YouTube to Rent Movies?

Rumor has is it that YouTube is in talks with all the major studios to create a deal that will allow YouTube to stream movies for a fee. You can currently watch movies on YouTube but their mostly old catalog movies. Under the proposed deal, users will be able to stream new releases. I wonder if Google would make users pay through their Google Checkout. They use that on their Android Market for Android phones.
